Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Online Bill Pay
Online Bill payment is available through the GREEN Payment link on this page, by going to Paymentservicenetwork.com or downloading the PSN app for your phone. Once you register, will be able to pay online using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Echeck. Online payments through our link to "Ampstun" will apply immediately to your account. Each Online payment will be charged a $2.99 transaction fee by the payment processing company.
PLEASE NOTE: Please make sure you are using the link on this page to sign up for our Ampstun billing portal with direct access to your account. If you use other third party payment services (i.e. Doxo, etc) you may be late on your payment since these services mail us a check, taking up to two weeks for us to receive your payment. The link on this page allows for real time payment of your account!
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays, the 15th of each month and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. *Please note...We do NOT keep cash in our office, so we will not be able to make change if you wish to make a cash payment. We do NOT accept credit card payments in our office. Cards may be used through the Ampstun payment portal above, the Payment Service Network website (Paymentservicenetwork.com) or by downloading the PSN app for your phone. Phone payments may be made by calling 1-877-885-7968.
Payment Through Financial Institution
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven-twelve business days to be received by DC Water and post to your account, therefore late fees could be incurred if the payment is received after the 15th of each month. Please consult with your bank for more information.
Payment by Telephone
Telephone payments may be made by calling 1-877-885-7968 Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 8am-5pm. Each telephone payment will br charged a $2.99 transaction fee by the payment processing fee.
