IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER:
During the 4th Quarter of 2023, Deer Creek Water Corporation violated drinking water requirements because we did not submit a sample testing our Well #6 for Radionuclides. Although this violation is not considered an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened and what we are doing, or have done, to correct this violation. Customers are not at risk and there is no reason to suspect any potential adverse health effects. Alternative water supplies are not needed.
We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your dinking water meets health standards. During the 4th quarter of 2023, we did not test our well
#6 for Radionuclides, and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water during that quarter.
